Class Photographs
Fourth graders were taught how to take a sample from their cheek to make a slide and then use compound microscopes to view their own cells. One class also prepared a slide with an Elodia plant. Can you separate the cells in the image from the dust, food, and bubbles? Remember to look for the nucleus!
Thank you to the students who helped the teachers balance an iPad camera over the microscope eyepiece--talk about merging old with new technology!
