About STEM @ KES

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Our STEM lessons focus on giving students hands-on learning opportunities to investigate science concepts and real world problems.  These classes are designed around three central beliefs:

Students must MAKE MISTAKES to learn.
Students must COOPERATE with each other as a team.

Students must THINK FOR THEMSELVES. 

Yes, students get frustrated…and learn. 
If students say, "I can't," or, "I don't know." 
We reply with, "try again" and "let's find out."
